WELCOME LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
On behalf of the entire Geneva Area Grape Jamboree Committee, I am thrilled to welcome you to the 59th Annual Geneva Area Grape Jamboree! We are excited to have you join us for a weekend filled with joy, entertainment, and, of course, an abundance of grapes. This year's Jamboree is set to be our best yet, packed with amazing events and unforgettable experiences.
Saturday Night Spectacular
Get ready for an electrifying Saturday evening! The entertainment lineup is guaranteed to get you dancing in the streets. Kicking off the night is Cleveland’s own Recess, who will have you grooving with their infectious beats. Prepare to be amazed by Michael Griffin, a magician and escape artist whose mind-blowing acts will leave you in awe. To top it all off, Simply Queen, a phenomenal Queen tribute band, will rock the night away with classic hits you won't want to miss!
Sunday Evening Extravaganza
Sunday evening promises more incredible performances. Enjoy the captivating sounds of Dean Patrick, followed by the return of 7 Mile Run, a country band that wowed us all last year. Their high-energy performance is back by popular demand, ready to close out the Jamboree with a bang.
Explore and Enjoy
While you're here, make sure to explore all the fantastic attractions the Jamboree has to offer. Visit the Winery at the Geneva Community Center on West Main, open both Saturday and Sunday, to savor some of the region's finest wines. Don’t miss the Art Show and Photography Show at the Geneva Rec Center on East Main, showcasing local talent. And for a fun family experience, hop aboard the Little Traveling Railroad as it journeys along Route 20.
A Rich History
The Grape Jamboree has a rich history, beginning in 1964 as a small celebration and farmers’ market to honor the grape harvest. Today, it stands as one of Ohio's largest festivals, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Each year, the Grape Jamboree Committee awards three scholarships to local high school students, supporting those who give back to their community and celebrating Miss Grapette. Profits are reinvested into the festival and community projects, continually enhancing the event.
Join Our Grape Family
Our festival's success is built on the dedication of our volunteers, both past and present. We invite anyone interested in joining our grape family to reach out. Whether you can contribute a few hours or more, we welcome your help in making the Grape Jamboree even better. Contact our headquarters at the Geneva Rec Center or speak with any committee member to get involved.
Let's Have a "Grape" Time!
Our goal is for everyone to have a "grape" time at the Jamboree. Each year, we welcome more visitors to Geneva, many of whom are experiencing our wonderful community for the first time. We hope you enjoy this year's festivities and come back to explore more of Ashtabula County in the future. Get into the purple spirit and join us in celebrating this year’s Grape Jamboree!
Warm regards,
Brian W. Kelly, President
